Job Description
Patient Care Technician - PCT CCHT functions as part of the dialysis health care team in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse. The role is responsible for setting up and operating hemodialysis machines, maintaining a safe and clean working environment, and providing patient education. The technician will also assist with patient care, including vital sign measurements, lab work, and vascular access management. The role requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. and state and/or national certification within the required timeline. Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or a related facility is preferred.

Requirements

  • State and/or national certification within the required timeline
  • Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or a related facility (preferred)
  • Successful completion of the organization dialysis training program
  • CPR certification
