Job Description
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) provides nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse, performing routine direct patient care activities and specific skills such as phlebotomy and point of care testing (POCT).

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent OR GED
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education
  • Basic Life Support
  • PA Nurse Aide Certification (if hired for the Transitional Sub-Acute Unit at Reading Health Rehabilitation Hospital)
