Job Description
IU Health is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Technician to provide a phenomenal patient experience by anticipating the needs of patients, providing clinical assistance to the bedside RN, and keeping patients safe.

Requirements

  • Provide drinks to patients
  • Assist with meal ordering
  • Encourage walking
  • Assist with baths
  • Provide clean linens and gowns
  • Obtain vital signs
  • Report abnormalities or changes in a patient's behavior to the primary RN or charge nurse
  • Utilize safety measures such as gait belts, bed and chair alarms, and staying within arm's reach of patients when moving around
