Job Description
Patient Care Technician I performs routine duties to assist nursing staff in delivering patient care, interacting with and supporting patients, and ensuring a safe environment. Develops therapeutic relationships with patients to facilitate the healing process.

  • Assisting with ambulating and mobilization of patients
  • Taking and recording patient's vital signs
  • Assisting with personal hygiene / AM Care
  • Assisting with bedpans and toileting
  • Catheter care
  • Emptying drains
  • Turning bedridden patients
  • Linen changes
  • Assisting with meal preparation
  • Feeding patients
  • I&O
  • Light cleaning and organizing of patient's room
  • Answering call lights
