Role Overview

Patient Care Technician I will handle patient intake, update medical records, and administer screening tools. They will record medical information, conduct patient interviews, take vital signs, collect specimens, and administer medication under physician supervision. The role involves assisting with walk-in and scheduled clinic visits, ensuring verification and recording of clinical data, and adhering to quality standards.

What You Will Do

The main responsibilities of this role include taking vital signs, assisting with examinations, collecting and preparing laboratory samples, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, cleaning patient rooms, prepping examination rooms, and providing emotional support to patients.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • National Certification CCMA from: NHA, AAMA, NAHP, ARMA, AMT, AMCA, or NCCT
  • 1 year of experience in Health Care services (preferred)
  • Associate's degree in Medical Care or related field (preferred)
  • 2+ Years Experience in outpatient, ambulatory setting (preferred)
  • BLS upon hire
  • EPIC or similar EMR system
  • Ability to work within computer systems
