Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year acute care inpatient hospital experience in the role preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
  • Certified Nursing Assistant certificate and experience in the role
  • Completed the PCT residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center or completed Nursing Fundamentals and skills course in nursing school
