Job Description
Role Overview

The Patient Care Technician provides high-quality, patient-centered care by performing delegated tasks in alignment with the PCT's training and the department's needs. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), the PCT supports patient care by assisting with activities of daily living, maintaining a safe and organized care environment, and ensuring effective communication within the healthcare team.

What You Will Do

Assists nursing staff in delivering care, performs delegated basic patient care services, and ensures a clean, safe, and well-organized environment. Collects and records patient data, supports patients with meals, feeding, bathing, and other daily activities.

Why It Might Be a Fit

0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program preferred. Basic knowledge of patient care practices and equipment, strong organizational skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in an acute care setting or currently enrolled in a Nursing program
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support within 90 days of hire
  • CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
  • Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT) preferred
