Role OverviewAssists with patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Provides care to patients in a responsible professional manner consistent with all standards of nursing care, hospital policies and procedures, and current regulations governing nursing practice in the state.
What You Will Do
Collects and records vital signs, assists with admission, transfer, discharge, and transporting of patients, implements patient safety measures, and provides care and treatments for patients as instructed by the nurse.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date
- Graduate of a nurse assistant or patient care technician training program
- Completion of hospital-based Patient Care Technician program within 30 days of hire
- Current Nursing Student
- Six (6) months of patient care tech experience
