Role OverviewNorthwestern Medicine is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Oncology unit at Palos Heights, IL. What You Will Do
Perform basic nursing care activities as delegated by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output. Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and eating, and report abnormal findings to nursing staff. Manage unit workflow, answer telephones and call lights, and serve as a liaison between patient care units and other departments.

This role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, certification as a CNA, CMA, EMT, or nursing school students with one semester of clinical completed, and BLS certification.
