Role OverviewAssists with patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Discharges duties in a responsible professional manner consistent with all standards of nursing care, hospital policies and procedures, and the current regulations governing nursing practice in the state.
What You Will Do
Follows established plan of patient care, assists with admission, transfer, discharge, and transporting of patients, collects and records vital signs, provides measures to meet patients' comfort needs, and performs basic routine duties every shift.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date
- Graduate of a nurse assistant or patient care technician training program
- Completion of hospital based Patient Care Technician program within 30 days of hire
- Current Nursing Student
- Six (6) months of patient care tech experience
