Role OverviewThe Insurance Advocate enrolls patients in ACA Marketplace plans, working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This is an onsite position with a Monday through Friday schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a healthcare environment.
What You Will Do
Contact patients to assess financial and medical eligibility for coverage, enroll patients in ACA marketplace plans, guide patients through the enrollment process, and manage a high volume of outreach calls.

Requirements
- High School Diploma required; some college preferred
- 1-2 years related experience
- Knowledge of ACA marketplace, Medicaid, & commercial insurance terms preferred
- Computer proficient; EMR/EHR experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and active auto insurance
- Must complete hospital medical clearance and required vaccinations
