Job Description
Patient Monitors sit with patients who are being evaluated for mental health and substance abuse issues until they are transferred to another facility or released.
Requirements
Maintain a safe and secure environment for hospital patients, visitors and staff
Monitor patient for transport or release from hospital
Assist staff handling the patient's care when necessary
Protect patient, staff and visitors while monitoring the patient
Perform checks on the patient assigned to monitor
Enforce rules and hospital policies
