Requirements

  • Greet and register patients
  • Update patient records
  • Determine and explain insurance benefits and payment responsibilities
  • Make appointment reminder calls
  • Anticipate and resolve patient problems
  • Assist patients with paperwork
  • Provide interpreting services
  • Conduct patient financial screening
  • Assist patients with selecting a primary care provider and insurance plan
  • Contact health plans and insurance companies
  • Update patient financial information
  • Provide advocacy for patients
  • Conduct medical history intake interviews
  • Provide health education and outreach activities
  • Develop and maintain contacts with staff at other organizations
