Role OverviewWe are searching for a Patient Sitter to ensure the safety of patients at risk of harm to self or others, under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).
What You Will Do
Sitters are responsible for remaining with the assigned patient at all times during their assigned shift, assisting the R.N. to provide an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors and employees.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 1 yr. experience in a psychiatric inpatient or outpatient program, Psychiatric Residential placement programs, and be able to respond quickly to requests and interact with people at all levels.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of basic nursing care
- Ability to respond quickly to requests and interact with people at all levels
- BLS – Basic Life Support from American Heart Association
- CNA- Certified Nurse Assistant
