Job Description
The Patient Registrar-Per Diem represents EvergreenHealth as welcoming officials to patients and visitors, and is responsible for accurate and courteous registration of patients. They are accountable for proper patient identification to ensure patient safety and initiate the Patient Revenue Cycle for maximum and timely reimbursement.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to be flexible in work assignments, detail oriented and organized
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to function independently and multitask
  • Numerical ability to discuss financial arrangements
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and retain composure in stressful situations
