Role OverviewThe Patient Safety Specialist will lead patient safety and quality improvement initiatives, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and partner with physicians and clinical teams to improve patient safety and care processes.

Key responsibilities include leading patient safety initiatives, collaborating with Director of Quality, managing safety event reporting processes, and conducting root cause analyses.

Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience in patient safety, quality improvement, performance improvement, risk management, or related clinical healthcare environments
- Strong knowledge of CMS, DNV, and other regulatory/accreditation standards
- Demonstrated leadership, facilitation, and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills
- Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 24 months)
