Job Description
Patient Service Representative and Insurance Verifier Rehab Services - works with patients and insurance carriers to determine patient benefits eligibility, pre-certify services, and perform verification of benefits. Reviews demographic, insurance, and clinical data to expedite payment on patient accounts.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required, Associate degree in business or healthcare preferred
  • Minimum of one to two years of registration, scheduling, or customer service experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Knowledge of health insurances, medical terminology and anatomy preferred
  • Strong data entry and keyboarding skills preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite preferred
