Role OverviewThis Patient Service Representative role supports the Grayslake Outpatient Center by checking patients in and out of appointments. It is a part-time position at 20 hours per week with a floating schedule between 7am and 7:30pm Monday to Friday and a Saturday rotation. The role reflects the mission, vision, and values of Northwestern Medicine.
What You Will Do
Communicate with patients and guests, including greeting them upon arrival, confirming identity, and providing necessary information. Complete check-in/out functions, confirm and update patient identification and demographic/insurance information, and complete patient registration. Collect co-payments, past due balances, and point of service payments, post payments, process billing information, and perform end-of-day cash drawer closing.
