Patient Services Ambassador

The Patient Services Ambassador will use an iPad to enter meal orders, serve patient meals, and collect trash and food remnants from patient rooms. The role requires a minimum of 1 year of foodservice and/or long term care experience and a high school diploma. The ambassador will promote quality and service, ensure proper food and sanitation standards, and maintain positive relationships with team members, clients, and patients.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of foodservice and/or long term care experience
• Minimum education includes a high school diploma with ability to read, write, speak and comprehend in order to communicate with fellow team members, clients and patients
• Ability to follow and give written and verbal instructions
• Basic computer skills including experience using an IPAD or tablet
• A basic understanding of diet principles, food preparation and cooking methods
• Previous experience with computerized diet office systems is a plus
