Job Description
The Patient Services Coordinator I role involves coordinating patient services, answering patient inquiries, resolving patient problems, and maintaining patient records. Responsibilities include patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and maintaining accurate patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance and professional patient experience.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
One year of office/clerical experience in customer service, call center, physician office, or clinical environment
Strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills
Basic knowledge of medical terminology and advanced knowledge of PC applications, software, and database management
Math and bookkeeping skills
Exceptional telephone and customer service skills
Knowledge of English grammar and punctuation
Benefits
Hourly Pay Range: $15.00 – $16.59
