Role OverviewThe Patient Services Coordinator schedules and registers patients for outpatient clinics, verifies eligibility, and ensures pre-authorizations and referrals are obtained. They work closely with physician offices, Utilization Review, and Business Office Departments. The role requires excellent customer service skills, knowledge of basic medical terminology, and ability to communicate effectively with clinic staff and visitors.
What You Will Do
Schedule and register patients for outpatient clinics, verify eligibility, obtain pre-authorizations and referrals, and perform other job-related duties as directed by the Supervisor.
