Job Description
The Patient Services Representative I, Evenings/Nights role at Samaritan is responsible for efficient and orderly admission of inpatients, registration of outpatients, and ensuring accurate patient information collection. The representative will answer incoming telephone calls, perform paging, and respond to inquiries in accordance with hospital policy.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous registration experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Ability to operate a multi-line phone system
  • Ability to perform data entry using EPIC preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic Life Support Heartsaver (HS) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire
