Role OverviewAs a Patient Services Representative, you will provide customer service to patients and company representatives, perform business office responsibilities, and ensure a positive patient experience. You will work in a medical practice office and be an integral part of the Northwestern Medicine team.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include greeting patients, obtaining patient information, performing patient registration, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and coordinating outside testing. You will also serve as a liaison between patients and the practice, provide back-up for scheduling appointments, and ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We are looking for a candidate with a high school diploma or GED equivalent, zero to two years of customer service experience, and a working knowledge of medical terminology. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and one to three years of prior physician office experience.
