Role OverviewThe Patient Support Advocate is knowledgeable about pharmacy and manufacturer assistance programs, insurance coverage, and available community and national resources. They will work closely with pharmacy staff, clinic staff, and clinical pharmacist specialist to obtain clinical and financial information for available assistance programs.
What You Will Do
Answer incoming calls, respond to electronic communications, assist health care providers and patients, handle customer inquiries, research required information, manage and resolve customer complaints, process benefits investigations, and maintain current knowledge of requirements for medication assistance programs.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
- 1+ years Healthcare experience (Required)
- Registered or Certified Pharmacy Technician status will be accepted in lieu of experience (Required)
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills (Required proficiency)
- Strong oral and written communication abilities (Required proficiency)
- Working knowledge of the complexities and interdependencies of Insurance Benefits, Medical Records, and pharmacy operations (Required proficiency)
- Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) (Preferred)
