Job Description
Meritus Health is seeking a compassionate and reliable Patient Transporter to join our Nursing Services team. In this essential role, you'll ensure the safe and timely movement of patients, equipment, and supplies throughout the medical center.

Requirements

  • Safely transport patients between nursing units, OR, and holding rooms
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and families
  • Assist with patient transfers under the supervision of licensed nurses
  • Deliver lab specimens and supplies promptly and accurately
  • Follow protocols for transporting deceased patients to the mortuary
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment at all times
