Role OverviewAdena Health is seeking a Patient Transporter for the PACU department at its Main Campus in Chillicothe, OH. This full-time, variable-shift non-clinical role is essential to how care is delivered, focusing on service, organization, teamwork, and making a meaningful impact behind the scenes.
What You Will Do
The Transporter is responsible for safe, efficient transportation of patients throughout the hospital. This position performs selected patient care activities as assigned, enters pertinent information regarding transfers into Meditech and/or paper-based charting, and is responsible for intradepartmental stocking or gathering of materials and supplies for nursing units from central supply and blood bank as assigned.
