Job Description
Patient Van Driver - Full Time: Operates KHI patient transport lift-equipped van or stretcher van to safely transport KHI patients for non-emergent, non-urgent medical-related needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid US driver's license
  • Heartsaver Cert through American Heart Association
  • Knowledge of traffic laws and safety requirements relating to the operation of a lift-equipped van
  • Knowledge of defensive driving techniques
  • Ability to assist persons with disabilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with a variety of customers
  • Ability to maintain clear and accurate records, logs, and reports
  • Ability to effectively respond to emergencies on and around the vehicle
