Role OverviewThe patrol officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and welfare of patients, visitors, and staff members of UH. They help keep the hospital and grounds a safe environment free of theft and other criminal activities.
What You Will Do
Exercises independent judgment in potentially dangerous situations, patrols assigned areas, conducts security checks, and responds to emergency calls. Prepares and processes reports, maintains security, and communicates with patients, visitors, and staff.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires good written and oral communication skills, ability to work outdoors in any type of weather, and basic computer skills. Must have a valid driver's license and a Private Security Certificate with Firearms from Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission or an Ohio Peace Officer Certificate.
