Role OverviewCoordinates and supervises the construction process on assigned projects, ensuring completion on time and within budget. Typically has one or more foremen and/or lead persons as direct reports.
What You Will Do
Embrace the Company’s safety culture, actively support all safety initiatives, and adhere to defined accountabilities implemented by the Simon Steering and Continuous Improvement teams. Work with project managers, and oversee organization and coordination crews, subcontractors, resources, and equipment, to ensure projects remain on time and on budget.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in road, bridge, asphalt paving and/or related area, and 3+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity. They will have sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry requirements, and be able to read and interpret technical documents, safety regulations, project plans, and related materials.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in road, bridge, asphalt paving and/or related area
- 3+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity
- Valid driver’s license and ability to maintain a clean driving history
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) a plus
