Job Description
Richland Library is seeking a Full-Time Payroll Administrator to oversee payroll operations, ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, and provide administrative support to the accounting department.
Requirements
Assess, plan, and implement best practice standards for payroll operations
Compile and submit data for trend analysis and/or reporting
Prepare and process payroll for over 400 employees
Collaborate with departments to ensure accuracy in employee data transfer and maintenance
Process payroll liabilities and reports, direct deposit, manual checks, wire transfer requests, and retro-active payments
Manage electronic timekeeping systems and collect and review timesheets
Research and resolve discrepancies and issues in a timely and efficient manner
Balance general ledger accounts monthly and at year-end, and analyze and maintain the budget for payroll
