Job Description
Richland Library is seeking a Full-Time Payroll Administrator to oversee payroll operations, ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, and provide administrative support to the accounting department.

Requirements

  • Assess, plan, and implement best practice standards for payroll operations
  • Compile and submit data for trend analysis and/or reporting
  • Prepare and process payroll for over 400 employees
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure accuracy in employee data transfer and maintenance
  • Process payroll liabilities and reports, direct deposit, manual checks, wire transfer requests, and retro-active payments
  • Manage electronic timekeeping systems and collect and review timesheets
  • Research and resolve discrepancies and issues in a timely and efficient manner
  • Balance general ledger accounts monthly and at year-end, and analyze and maintain the budget for payroll
