Role OverviewSupporting the Payroll Supervisor, the Payroll Administrator leads the day-to-day Payroll Department efforts in the completion of semi-monthly payrolls, delivery of required reports, collection of payroll information and maintenance of required records.
What You Will Do
Directs the preparation and processing of semi-monthly payroll for over 2400 employees; review and ensure accuracy of approved time sheets; track and deduct all garnishments and other special payroll deductions. Coordinates payroll, human resources, budget and other departments to ensure proper flow and maintenance of employee data.

Requirements
- Must be able to pass a fingerprint clearance, background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications
- Ability to perform under circumstances of possible emotional stress and conflicts dealing with difficult, uncooperative, and potentially aggressive clients
- Three years' experience in a Payroll Department, in addition to the education requirement (If no degree, then 5 years' experience required)
