Role Overview

The Payroll Analyst will serve the Department of State, supporting employees located domestically and overseas, Retirees, Foreign Service Nationals, Foreign Service Officers, and other Agencies/Customers. The role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. The Payroll Analyst will perform a wide variety of complex payroll processing activities, including time and attendance reporting, pay calculation, individual leave accounts, and other individual pay matters.

What You Will Do

Primary responsibilities include T&A reporting, pay calculation, individual leave accounts, allotments of pay, and other individual pay matters for those paid under local compensation plans at serviced-posts. The Payroll Analyst will also establish and maintain master payroll records, ensure effective and timely customer service, and facilitate vigilant internal controls.
