Job Description
The Payroll Analyst is responsible for supporting the accurate and timely processing of payroll while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role partners closely with Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, and Payroll leadership to resolve payroll issues, maintain data integrity, and support continuous improvement of payroll processes.
Requirements
Support end-to-end payroll processing of biweekly U.S. payroll, including multi state, exempt and non-exempt populations with minimal errors and maximum efficiencies.
Review payroll inputs for accuracy, including new hires, terminations, pay changes, timecards, and special earnings.
Process off-cycle payrolls, corrections and retroactive pay calculations.
Maintain data integrity of U.S. payroll applications (ADP Portal, ADP Vantage, Equifax Unemployment) daily.
Ensure payroll activities comply with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.
Support audits, reconciliations, and internal controls related to payroll.
Process garnishments, levies, and other involuntary deductions.
Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
Assist with payroll tax reconciliations and coordination with ADP Tax.
Support audits related to payroll, benefits, and compensation.
Prepare ad hoc reports and data analysis for internal stakeholders.
Assist with system testing for payroll updates, enhancements, and regulatory changes.
Identify data issues and work with HRIT or IT partners to resolve them.
Document payroll procedures and process updates as needed.
Support payroll projects, system implementations, and process enhancements to improve payroll processes, controls, and employee experience.
Participate in cross-functional initiatives impacting payroll operations.
