Job Description
Hart Companies is seeking a Part-Time Payroll Assistant to support payroll operations. This role involves collecting and verifying timesheets, calculating pay, auditing hours, and maintaining accurate records. The position is available for full-time potential and requires on-site presence Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Requirements
Collect and verify weekly timekeeping information.
Input and validate submitted timesheets.
Calculate and verify payroll amounts.
Audit and reconcile hourly rates and deductions.
Maintain meticulous records of payroll details.
Print and distribute payroll checks.
Process direct deposits securely.
Prepare bank deposits compliant with regulations.
Handle financial deductions.
Prepare employee reports.
Handle court orders, tax levies, and unemployment claims.
Process union reports.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
