Job Description
The NYC Department of Probation is seeking a Payroll Director to oversee payroll operations and provide leadership to the Payroll unit. The Director is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely administration of payroll, compliance with applicable rules and regulations, and alignment with citywide payroll policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the Payroll unit.
  • Direct and manage staff responsible for the preparation, auditing, and processing of biweekly payroll to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to city payroll deadlines.
  • Oversee payroll audits to ensure transactions, deductions, and adjustments are processed in accordance with city policies and internal controls.
