Role OverviewCentrus Energy is seeking a detail-driven Payroll Specialist who loves precision, problem-solving, and helping people. In this role, you’ll ensure that every paycheck is accurate, every deduction is correct, and every deadline is met.
What You Will Do
You’ll prepare, process, and reconcile biweekly payrolls for both exempt and non-exempt employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.

Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of progressive payroll experience, ideally in a multi-state or government contractor setting
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems (Oracle or similar ERP experience preferred)
- Solid understanding of payroll compliance, wage and hour laws, and tax principles
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for reconciliation and reporting
