Role OverviewThe Payroll Supervisor is responsible for being the main point of contact for team members and department managers/timekeepers. The Supervisor will also directly handle fully processing the bi-weekly payroll cycle whenever the Payroll Manager is unable to do so.
What You Will Do
Establish and maintain employee/payroll records, auditing timekeeping records for accuracy and conformance with established standards, processing all aspects of the payroll cycle, balancing taxable wage bases to tax deductions.

Must possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, 3+ years of Payroll experience, and the ability to speak, read and write in English.
Requirements
- Knowledge of multi-state payroll functions, preferably in a hotel/casino operation
- Demonstrated knowledge of payroll systems
- Knowledge of federal and state multi-state regulatory requirements.
- Effective communication with property payroll staff, as well as other company personnel.
- Basic understanding of payroll taxes, wage assignment, and other payroll deductions.
- Previous experience in gaming/hospitality payroll processing preferred.
- Able to work independently with minimal direction and supervision while adhering to strict deadlines.
- Proficient in Excel spreadsheets
- Strong knowledge of applicable Federal, State and County laws and regulations as they relate to the payroll functions and the preparation of reports.
