Role Overview

Provides analysis of payroll taxes and W2 wages for 33,000 employees in a $5 billion organization. Maintains a business relationship with ADP for payroll tax filings and participates in system testing and troubleshooting.

What You Will Do

Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, resolve tax issues, and prepare reconciliation spreadsheets. Manage tax accounts, assist employees with tax-related questions, and run tax reports.

Requirements

  • High School Equivalent / GED
  • 5+ years Experience administering the complete payroll process
  • Experience with multiple FEIN's, Multiple States and Multiple Localities
  • 2+ years Working knowledge of Kronos and Oracle HR/payroll systems
  • Extensive experience preparing W2s, W-2cs, and tax analyses
  • Demonstrated experience making payroll adjustments to update incorrect taxable wage balances
  • Experience with time and attendance timekeeping system(s)
  • Thorough knowledge of advanced principles and practices of payroll accounting and financial record keeping
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with good analytical and problem solving ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Notable client service, communication, presentation and relationship building skills
  • Ability to function independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic
  • Demonstrated ability to use PCs, Microsoft Office suite, and general office equipment
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word
  • Excellent report creation skills
