Role OverviewThe PC Network Support Technician will work on-site, full-time at our Melbourne, FL location, supporting information system lifecycle activities. The role requires good communication skills, an energetic approach, and patience with customers. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time.
What You Will Do
The responsibilities of this role include creating and managing tickets for all support incidents, relocating workstations and associated equipment, providing basic diagnostics, resolving technical problems, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a technical understanding of service desk and IT Operations fundamentals, possess a Security+ certification or greater, and have a current DOD Secret level security clearance (at a minimum).
Requirements
- High School diploma (or equivalent) and 2 years of relevant experience; OR an Associate’s degree and 0 years of relevant experience is required
- Must have a Security+ certification or greater
- Candidates must have a current DOD Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) in order to be considered
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Product Suites, and remote deployment methods
