Role OverviewThis is a benefit-eligible, full-time position working 12-hour day shifts in a float pool environment at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas. As a key member of the clinical care team, you will provide excellent service to patients and assist with personal needs and activities of daily living.
What You Will Do
You will collect data, ensure a safe and organized environment, and assist with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician. You will also support the unit with various patient logistic, clerical, equipment/supply, and charge reconciliation duties.

Requirements
- One year of recent experience working under the license of a licensed healthcare provider
- Current enrollment or completion of Nursing Assistant training from a recognized school
- Current enrollment in an RN program with completion of the second semester, including nursing fundamentals
- Ability to speak, read and follow instruction in English
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a service aptitude
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care provider
