Job Description
This is a Full-Time position as a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) on a 12-hour DAY shift schedule working variable days of the week including weekends and holidays at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego. Join the Scripps Health team and work alongside passionate caregivers providing patient-centered healthcare.

Requirements

  • CNA certification
  • One year of recent experience working under the license of a licensed healthcare provider
  • Current enrollment or completion of Nursing Assistant training from a recognized school
  • Current enrollment in an RN program with completion of the second semester, including nursing fundamentals
  • Ability to speak, read and follow instruction in English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a service aptitude
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care provider
