Role OverviewA non-licensed healthcare provider employed by Erlanger Health Systems is responsible for direct and/or indirect care of patient under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
What You Will Do
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to patient preparation for procedures, patient transport, patient positioning, extremity holds during prep, room turnover/cleaning, establishing and maintaining a sterile field, scrubbing into case for retractor holding and/or camera holding, restocking supplies, and inventory management.

The employee must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in his or her assigned unit.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or occupational diploma paired with successful completion of the project search program
- BLS completed prior to going to unit/department and maintained going forward
- Completion of 8 Hours of Erlanger Online Education specific to Total Ankle, Hip, Knee and Shoulder Replacement
- Completion of 4 of these hours as Erlanger Online Education upon hire (EOLS's and other training will be assigned by Department Leadership and/or Educator)
