Role Overview

The Clinical Supervisor will develop a highly effective clinical team by supporting direct service staff in providing high quality care while ensuring legal and ethical standards are being met. The role is part of the Children's Counseling Center, funded by Los Angeles County's Department of Mental Health, providing community-based mental health services to children, youth, and families. The team provides individual and family therapy, rehabilitation, case management, and medication management.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage/Family Therapy, Counseling, or Clinical Psychology, be licensed with the Board of California, and have a minimum of 2 years post-licensure experience as an LCSW/LMFT/Licensed Clinical Psychologist.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage/Family Therapy, Counseling, or Clinical Psychology from an accredited college.
  • Licensed with the Board of California and in good standing.
  • Minimum 2 years post licensure experience as an LCSW/LMFT/Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
  • Completion of requirements to supervise registered clinicians and/or interns.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and/or training in evidence-based practices such as TF-CBT, AF-CBT, IPT, and Ind CBT.
  • Bilingual (English/ Spanish) to fulfill the linguistic needs of the target population.
  • Knowledge of computer operation including word processing and spreadsheet capability.
