Role OverviewThe Peer Leadership Fellows Wellness Cohort Coordinator is responsible for the management of the Peer Wellness Cohort of the Peer Leadership Fellows, a national model for peer-to-peer relational engagement and empowering teens to reduce stigma within the Jewish community and among their peers around mental health and wellness. The Coordinator works in partnership with the Director of Teen Programs and the Assistant Director of Teen Engagement serving a premiere group of teen leaders, selected through a coordinated application process each spring, representing communities throughout Greater Boston.
What You Will Do
Primary responsibilities include facilitation of monthly workshops, working with Fellows in grades 10 through 12, and involvement in strategic decisions for the program as a whole. The Coordinator will also maintain regular communication with Fellows, families, and community partners as needed, and facilitate relationship-building within the Wellness Cohort and between members of the Wellness Cohort and Engagement Cohort.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in education, psychology, social work, Jewish studies or related field
- 3+ years of proven experience working with teens or in mental health education
- Knowledge and familiarity with the needs of teens
- Creative ability to translate ideas, feedback, and data into innovative and meaningful experiences
- Outstanding project management skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and manage situations effectively and diplomatically
- Self-starter who takes the initiative
- Superb interpersonal and active listening skills
- Ability to work well independently and with others, building/sustaining collaborative working relationships
