Role OverviewThe Peer Recovery Coach engages, inspires, and facilitates meaningful conversations with members served to assist them in exploring, creating, and meeting their own recovery goals. This role provides consultation to the team to promote and reinforce Telecare's Recovery Culture. Peer Recovery Coaches respond to critical situations with high-level engagement and de-escalation skills.
What You Will Do
Provide consultation to the team to promote and reinforce Telecare's Recovery Culture. Engage, inspire, and facilitate meaningful conversations with members served to assist them in exploring, creating, and meeting their own recovery goals.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Peer Certification
- California: Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification through CalMHSA
- One (1) year or part-time equivalent of experience supporting members served with behavioral health challenges
- Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system of care
- Successful completion of Peer Support Training or Peer Employment Training
- Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver
- Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
- Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
- Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc.
