Job Description
This position serves as a personal guide and liaison for individuals with substance use disorders in WVU Health System affiliated treatment settings. The recovery coach supports patients by assisting them with identifying treatment needs, developing and monitoring individualized treatment plans, and supporting patients to remain in treatment.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Peer Recovery Support Specialist Certification training with a minimum of 40 hours
WVCBAPP Peer Recover Certification upon hire
West Virginia state and/or Federal criminal background checks
