Job Description
Join Claratel Behavioral Health as a Forensic Peer Mentor and use your lived experience to provide compassionate, hands-on support to victims and perpetrators of gun violence. The Forensic Peer Mentor provides non-clinical professional and specialized support services to clients to assist them in successfully navigating the intersections between the Criminal Justice, Behavioral Health, and Community Resource systems.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Certified Peer Specialist (CPS-MH or CPS-AD) or ability to obtain within 12 months
  • Lived experience with mental health or addiction recovery
  • 1+ year of experience in behavioral health, case management, or advocacy preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and technology skills
  • Reliable transportation & valid GA driver’s license
