Peer Support Specialists engage, inspire, and facilitate meaningful conversations with members served to assist them in exploring, creating, and meeting their own recovery goals. Peer Support Specialists provide consultation to the team to promote and reinforce Telecare's Recovery Culture.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Peer Certification
California: obtain Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialist Certification
Experience as a beneficiary of the Behavioral Health system of care
Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance
Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
