Role OverviewThe Pelican Asphalt C Operator will work closely with the Plant, Maintenance, and Management Teams to ensure consistent and high-level functionality of all aspects of operations. The ideal candidate has experience with processing, loading, shipping, and a thorough understanding of all areas related to asphalt work.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include training in facility processes, loading and unloading tank trucks, gauging above ground storage tanks, performing facility rounds, operating a sit-down forklift, and participating in safety meetings.

Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds of weight chest height
- Ability to climb to heights of 40 feet
- Forklift operation experience, a plus
- Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various conditions and stand for extended periods of time
- Must be organized with a detail-oriented mindset
- Must be positive, friendly, and professional
- Ability to work well with others in a group or one-on-one setting
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
