Role OverviewJoin the Regions Family Birth Center team as a per diem Certified Surgical Technologist (CST). The CST functions as an active member of the surgical team in the role of the scrub person.
What You Will Do
Assist the Circulator with the preparation of the O.R. suite, gather equipment and instrumentation, practice department procedures for hand scrub, gowning and gloving, accurately prepare drugs under the supervision of the Registered Nurse Circulator, set up sterile instruments, suture, and all sterile supplies and maintain sterile field of instruments and supplies during procedures.

Requirements
- Completion of a surgical technologist training program.
- Completion of national certification exam offered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) within 12 months of hire date.
- CPR certification at time of employment and every two years thereafter.
Benefits
- Salary range $37.43-$50.65 per hour
